Ragdolls have a luxuriously soft, semi-long coat that does not require as much regular grooming as other longhaired breeds. Ragdoll cats come in a variety of three patterns: pointed, mitted, and bicolor. Pointed Ragdolls are a single color that tends to darken at their extremities. Mitted patterns are a single color like pointed Ragdolls, but have white on their abdomen, or a “belly stripe”, and a white chin. Mitted Ragdolls are also distinct for their white front feet that look like mittens and white to the hock of their hind-legs looking like white boots. Bicolor Ragdolls also have white fur on their bellies like mitted Ragdolls, but they have a white inverted “V” on their faces and white legs.

Other than mink and sepia Ragdolls, all Ragdoll kittens are born white and colors change as the kitten grows. The four colors offered are seal, chocolate, blue, and lilac (or frost). They can also have a pattern of all the colors and three patterns which is called tortoiseshell pattern. A “Lynx” Ragdoll cat refers to the striping pattern within the fur’s coloration.

Since these cats are more muscular that most, full-grown males can weigh from 12 to 20 pounds or more versus a female that normally weighs 8 to 15 pounds.

Once our kittens go to their forever homes, we recommend that they be fed Instinct Kitten Dry food and/or Fancy Feast Kitten Wet food.

From a future owner:

"What we love most about you and your cattery is that you truly love the cats that you have and you can clearly see it is not just a business but it is a love and passion for the cats."

"We are now the proud owners of a wonderful Ragdoll kitten thanks to Melissa. Because we live 5 hours away, Melissa sent us frequent texts, photos and videos of our new kitty growing up. We’ve had Lexi for two weeks now and we have enjoyed every minute of it. Such a sweet kitty! Thank you for caring so much for your kittens, Melissa, it makes a real difference!"
